Funniest Movie Scenes
Funniest Movie Scenes: Although it would be impossible to compile a list of every single funny scene ever screened, this collection moves toward that goal. It should be obvious that a selection of funny movie moments and scenes is entirely subjective and can only scratch the surface.

Other Comic Strip Super-Heroes
The success of Flash Gordon inspired other studios to follow suit. Other costumed comic-strip, super-hero characters included:

* Buck Rogers - 1939Zorro (Zorro Rides Again (1937) with John Carroll as the disguised, legendary 19th century title character, the 12-chapter Zorro's Fighting Legion (1939), Zorro's Black Whip (1944), Son of Zorro (1947), and Ghost of Zorro (1949) with Clayton Moore in his first masked-western-hero role)
* Buck Rogers (Buster Crabbe also starred in the 12-part serial Buck Rogers Conquers the Universe (1939) adventure, shot between Flash Gordon's Trip to Mars (1938) and Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe (1940)) - it proved not as popular as the Flash Gordon series; also the serial Planet Outlaws (1939) with Buster Crabbe as Buck Rogers; later surfaced as the feature film Buck Rogers (1979) with Gil Gerard
* the Green Hornet (Universal's 13-episode serial The Green Hornet (1940) starred Gordon Jones as the crusading hero Britt Reid (the Green Hornet) as the modern 'Robin Hood')
* the Shadow (1940)
Adventures of a Teenage Dragonslayer

Comic-Con 2011 - IN TIME Press Conference Images with Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and director Andrew Niccol
We have a blast with Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried and Andrew Niccol for the little known In Time.

Justin Timberlake...really? YEP! The multi-talented actor who turned in a terrific performance in The Social Network, joins Red Riding Hood's Seyfried in the Niccol-directed and written film which also stars Cillian Murphy, Vincenet Kartheiser, Alex Pettyfer, Johnny Galecki and Olivia Wilde.
Other Series of Action Films
Sports-oriented action pictures have also appeared in this genre. Boxing pictures (the Rocky series of 1976, 1979, 1982, 1985, and 1990), car racing films (i.e., John Frankenheimer's Grand Prix (1966), the 'Cannonball Run' films (1976, 1981, and 1984), Days of Thunder (1990), Gone in 60 Seconds (2000) and The Fast and the Furious (2001)), aviation dogfight films (Top Gun (1986)), baseball flicks (i.e., Eight Men Out (1988)) and other sports topics have often appeared as subjects in action films.
Foreign Shore Influences on the Action Film: Martial Arts
The popular, Hong Kong kung fu genre was catapulted to world-wide prominence in the 1970s with Bruce Lee's four martial-arts films, with spectacular fight scenes. Unfortunately, many of them were dubbed and had poorly-contrived plots containing copy-cat James Bond elements. Lee's best films were his last two - they were released post-humously after he died at the young age of 32:
Mission: Impossible II (2000)
Film Plot Summary

The film opened in downtown Sydney, Australia, in the Biocyte Pharmaceuticals building, where in the laboratory, Russian molecular biologist Dr. Vladimir Nekhorovich (Rade Serbedzija) had DNA-engineered sample cultures. In a voice-over confession, he described the existence of a "hero" -- a curative green-colored drug known as 'Bellerophon,' and the creation of its opposite, a monstrous villain -- a red-colored super-virus known as 'Chimera.'
